The Southern India Mills Association COTTON DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (SIMA CD&RA) a registered non profit making service oriented organization was established in the year 1974 by the textile mills in the Southern States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu.

Main Objectives of SIMACDRA

 

To promote the development of cotton farming for enhancing cotton productivity, production and quality and make available raw cotton at reasonable price to the textile mills.

To supplement the efforts of the state and Central Governments and other agencies in promoting the increased production of quality cotton to meet the demands of the textile industry.
